1. How far in advance should I place my order?

Custom orders typically require 3+ weeks’ notice depending on availability. For large or highly detailed orders, more time is recommended. Rush orders may be accepted based on schedule. 

2. Do you require a deposit?

Yes, your order is not confirmed until the deposit is received. 

For orders received within 10 days of the event, full payment is required to confirm the order.

For orders under $100: A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total is required to secure your order.

For orders between $100-$200: A non‑refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your order.

For orders between $200+: A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your order. 

3. When is the final payment due?

Final balance is due 10 days before the event. Orders not paid in full by the deadline may be cancelled. 

4. What payment methods do you take?

I accept Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and Square (requires additional fee of 3.3%+ 30¢)

5. What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable, but depending on notice and availability, your payment may be transferred to a future order date. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event may be eligible for a partial credit toward a future order. 

6. Can I change my order? 

Any changes to flavors, quantities, or designs must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event date. Additional charges may apply.

7. Do you deliver?

Local delivery may be available for an additional fee. Pickup location details are provided after your order is confirmed.

8. Where are you located?

I am a home-based, cottage-food bakery located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

9. Do you offer shipping?

Due to Virginia cottage-food laws, shipping is not available at this time.

10. What types of treats do you make?

11. How much are your treats?

Prices vary depending on various factors including quantity, design complexity, number of designs, colors, packaging choices and more. Pricing information can be found on the Menu & Pricing page. 


12. Do you accommodate allergies?

Whisked Away Bites operates in a kitchen that uses dairy, eggs, nuts, wheat, and gluten. While I can avoid certain ingredients, cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.

13. Can I send inspo pictures?

Of course and I recommend it! You can upload inspiration images when placing your order via the Inquiry page or send them directly after booking. Please note: I do not replicate another baker’s exact design but will use your inspiration to match your vision.

14. Will my treats look exactly like the photo?

Every treat is handmade, so slight variations are normal. I always do my best to match your theme, colors, and style!

15. Do you offer tastings?

Tastings for large events may be available upon request and require advance scheduling.

16. How should I care for my treats once received?

You will receive a care card with your order that provides information on how to store your treats.
